Private clients

Our clients often have highly personal tastes and views on what they want from their furniture, and we love bringing those ideas to life. Sometimes, they stipulate a one-off piece to celebrate a special occasion or precisely complement a specific space.

Interior designers

The Studio 1718 team, known for its warmth and flexibility, creatively works with interior designers to bring their visions to life and maximise the impact of their finished work. We strive to make our clients feel comfortable and at ease throughout the process.

We bring extensive experience in materials, finishes, shapes, accessories, and design practicalities to these collaborations, helping our interior design clients with problem-solving ideas, outstanding creativity, and craftsmanship.

Architects

Studio 1718 collaborates with architects worldwide to help them fully realise their designs, particularly the interiors. Again, we can meet a tightly specified brief or create designs for a particular theme, shape, or aesthetic.

We’ve assisted with new buildings, restorations, and refurbishments, providing expert contributions to projects of varying sizes, purposes, and styles.

Based on the west coast of Scotland, we have always looked outward as a business, proudly observing how our work is shipped across Europe, North America, and beyond to Asia.

We draw inspiration from Scotland’s history, landscape, and natural materials. Our gratitude extends to our Italian ancestors, who worked tirelessly to create a better life for us here.

We also find inspiration in the remarkable designs of significant figures such as Thomas Chippendale and Sir Edwin Lutyens.
